“I don't know what your destiny will be, but one thing I do know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve.” - Albert Schweitzer

I recently read Kirk Walden’s book The Wall. I was so moved by his vision that I read it entirely in one sitting. In fact, I went to a local pastor and read passages to him over breakfast one morning. When I expressed my desire to buy 50 copies to share with others, he reached into his wallet and gave me the money to get started.
Paul told the church in Corinthians that “no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid”. It was true then and it is true now. The foundation of the pro-life movement is a solid, well-laid structure. Indeed, the bedrock of Living Hope Women’s Center was laid by Dinah Monahan and a group of visionaries who knew the value of life. Both are based completely on Jesus – the solid rock.

Mr. Walden isn’t talking about a new foundation or a new system or a new anything. He quite simply encourages us to build a wall of hope on the strong foundation that already exists.

In 2014 we plan to BUILD. I invite you to join us.
